Nana's Gift

I made this 12 x 12 page for my friend, Deb. When she shared this picture with me, I knew I just had to have it. I absolutely love black and white pictures with a dash of color. All I wanted was the .jpeg of the photo but even better she brought me a 5 x 7 print of it. I knew that she had several of these frames left over so she brought me one of those as well. The wood is bare, it does need to be stained or painted. Deb's scraproom is brown - the dilemma is to stain the frame, paint it or leave it natural looking. I left the frame choice up to her to decide as I just could not decide. I was so happy to share this with her. After creating this page, I was wishing that Baby James was my grandson so I could keep it. Even though the layout is quite simple, it took me a long time of deep thought of how to focus on the beauty of the picture and not go that one step too far and over-do it.

I love what you did with the photo. It turned out wonderful. I still have not painted or stained the frame as I am stuck as what to do. Afraid if I do something and not like it I am stuck with it. But you are a great friend to do something so special as that for me. Love you! Hugs, Deb
